Had lunch with a couple of friends and to my surprise this was a small eatery within the Shop n Save grocery store, but the food was awesome. I had the Barbacoa burrito it was very flavorful and the spices were just right. Service & price were great for the amount of food they served. Definitely will suggest as a go to Mexican food spot for lunch.
I've been craving some carne asada tacos and this place went above and beyond my expectations. The asada came out on a piping skillet! The meat was seasoned very well and everything tasted amazing. My partner had a carne asada chimichanga. He loved it! The chimi was freshly fried and was very spicy. This little tienda is located in the back of a grocery store. It's kinda difficult to find if you aren't from these parts, but this tienda is well worth the search.
Visited the restaurant while traveling and the staff were very friendly and the service was quick. I loved the enchiladas served with half red sauce and half green sauce. Also, the pricing was more affordable than what I expected. I intend on coming back to this place of I ever come through Gallup
My favorite kind of place: local and affordable with a peculiar twist (this place is tucked in the back of Lowe's grocery store). The service was friendly and helpful, plus fast. The food was good, but not spectacular. I was looking for a place with authentic NM food, particularly with green chiles, and while they do offer green chile on anything, I wasn't blown away by the flavors as compared with past experiences at authentic NM diners. I wouldn't go out of my way to stop again, but if I found myself in Gallup looking for a quick and affordable meal, I'd be back.
Such a great little stop at the very back of the Shop N Save. They made us a custom veggie burrito with the best green chile sauce. Chips and salsa are complimentary. Price is very reasonable.
